Assessment of Residuality of Hymexazol in Strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa) Crop by a Modified QuEChERS Method and Liquid Chromatography Tandem-Mass Spectrometry

Hymexazol (HYM) is an active ingredient commonly used in a wide variety of crops; however, to date, there are no publications on its dissipation and residuality strawberry fruits leaves. The objective the research was evaluate hymexazol using modified QuEChERS method with UHPLC-ESI/MS-MS. For this, several validation experiments chromatographic were conducted. crop established field, content HYM monitored through applications. showed good linearity (correlation coefficients > 0.9995), accuracy (recoveries 73.7–109.4%), sensitivity (limits quantification 0.017 mg kg−1). Despite two four drench-treatments crop, compound not detected at levels above LOD 24 48 h after last treatment. This due various plants metabolizing glucose conjugates tautomers, i.e., O-glucoside N-glucoside, probably low or null movement aerial parts crop.
